Many have contributed to the development of both the BACnet Module for Drupal and to the development of this website. We welcome your help to make both better.
Membership to our group is free of course, like Drupal and the BACnet module.
Inside we would like to share some tips and examples on setting up live energy dashboards. Hopefully it will help you increase energy savings at your facilities. Its all real easy, once you know how to do it of course. However, to lower the learning curve we have a special offer... Free help!!!
We are in search of a few good 'LIVE" demo sites. Live demo sites will be accessible to members. Then, depending on interest, we will also host Energy Competitions here, or show how elsewhere!!! So be one of the first! We believe that this technology will actually become the newest of Energy Conservation Measures.
It makes sense. We've heard of savings of 20-30% just by raising user awareness ... think social media interactions with facility energy usage. So if you have buildings with energy management systems that use BACnet (and most do!) and you use or want to use Drupal at your institution, then you are almost there!
That's right. If you have had savvy engineers involved in the design, build and operation of your facilities, you may now be able to implement this ECM without any capital expense for construction. It could actually be the lowest cost, highest profile ECM that reaps the highest of savings.
Oh ... and if you are one of the more than 500+ people who have download the BACnet Module for Drupal but not installed it, chances are its because you don't know how to get the right point addresses. Its truely just cut-n-paste, but the trick is you need access to the BACnet systems for that :-) ... Sorry I can't tell you that for your systems, but I can show you that on ours!!!
